oh no, where's my essay on corruption?

I guess that thread went passee with BETA 1.15. Now let's try it this new one out.

Anyway, I went against my vow and played a game. It was a random map on Monarch. Turned out to my a normal sized pangea. I can't see why some people aren't bugged by corruption... it doesn't seem nearly as bad when it's a smaller map. I had a lot of money towards the end... so that could be unbalancing, if corruption is reduced too much. I was lucky that game: I somehow managed to control 6 of the 7 oil resources (control the tundras my friends!).

Looks like the adjustments to corruption are being made a step at a time. I guess that's prudent.

If anyone sees that old BETA 1.13 thread, let me know.

That's barely a paragraph. If that couple lines of oppinions was any indication of what was in your last "essay" I can imagion why it didn't make the cut.

On the BETA 1.13 thread I wrote a long piece about my feelings about the corruption scheme... and yes... it was time consuming and essay-like. It seems that thread is gone, along with my work. That's disappointing because it spurred some good responses. I wouldn't consider my musings in the above 'paragraph' an essay (and I never claimed to!)

Good grief, werewolf, don't get all worried. The thread is not gone, just no longer stickied since it is about patch 1.13, not 1.15. It merely was pushed to the second page of threads.
