Ok recemondations plz :)

Well i am thinking of getting a new cpu in the future, (maybe 6 months from now or sometime vista is fixed) So im wondering wut should i do. (price range 1000-2000 $) Also with it i do everything from gaming, to school work, to photoshop stuff and audio video stuff and the regular cpu things.

Im thinking of getting HP or Dell.... HP has more things for cheaper but i heard they have horrible customer service. Also what is a good moderatly price GFX card and what should i do for sound (note i want all these things in the online customization thing so they will just come preinstalled in the CPU) Also i prefer Intel over AMD just cuz im used to it but what do u guys think? Ty for help

I'd recommend the Intel Xeon X5460 Harpertown 3.16GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 771 120W Quad-Core Processor. Make sure your motherboard works with a 771 socket.
