Old games

I play this old PC games 'Star Control' in SEGA genesis and like it very much.
Unfortunately the game balance is not good. the 'Mmmrrm'(or some thing like that) is to easy to use.

First Pirates rocked! :scan:

Final Fantasy VII is considered by the vast majority people to be not only the best FF, but the best GAME ever. I would hardly called that old and forgotten.

But for the most part, I agree. I look at the Gameboy Advance, which for the most part is like a handheld SNES, with the cute sprites and whatnot, and feel that those graphics hold up just as well as the current-gen graphics. At least I know Nintendo's going on the right track, Iwata stated that the time when graphical power alone makes a console is over.

I don't know, I'm pretty sure Zelda:Ocarina of Time is right up there with FF7 for best game ever. Personally I've never played FF7. Hated playing FFX.

Agree with the second part though.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time has more awards and glory than Final Fantasy Seven, but FF7 is more popular. Most people who have OoT as their favorite Zelda usually have LttP or something else as a close second. The majority of people who have FF7 consider it the best game ever, no contest. In fact, it is because FF7 is so popular that it's also one of the most hated. Many people played FF7, thought it was a good game, but nothing special. When everyone else was treating FF7 as if it were god, the people who thought it was so-so start to hate it. The general theory now is that FF7 is so popular because it was most people's first RPG. Whether you love the game or not, you have to agree that is at least a factor, just as OoT may be popular just because it's Zelda in 3D (I disagree with that, but I must admit that it is a factor).

So in short, FF7 is the most popular, and probably the most hated game ever made. OoT is the highest rated among reviewers and stuff, and slightly overrated, even though I feel that it's probably the best game ever made myself.

So... anyone ever played Sunset Riders? or seen it?
Yes, I played it "in the old good days!" :D Arcades rocked/and still rock(through emulators).

Some of the old games are really good.
As an example FF VII, Nethack, Dungeon Crawl, old Blizzard games (Warcrafts), Elder Scrolls and so on....

That patch has been around for a while, with new vehicles, and new features (longer multi-headed trains, new signalling options, electrified rails, and others). You need to configure the patch for yourself.

Seems like a lot of people like Transport Tycoon. I loved (and still love) that game. It's just that I never get enough time to play any of the "oldies" anymore.

Other games from late 20th century I like are Starcraft (the ultimate RTS), Red Alert 1, Worms 2 and HOMM 3.

Settlers 2 and Gold were great!
Well I'm not talking about Dune1,2, Barbarian, Kyranidia and so on.
Can't get TTycoon to run under XP . It cruses after the first five seconds :(.
