Oldest strategy game that you still play?

Sid Meier's Colonization. Occasionally, but it's a very good game.

And I am thinking that when I get some time, I could play the first Fallout and this time truly do everything. I first played it when my English was still pretty rudimentary, so I often didn't know very well what I was doing ;)

Fairly regular: The Settlers 2, Civilization 2 (both 1996) and Total Annihilation (1997). But I sometimes like to fire up Civilization (1991), Colonization (1994) and Centurion (1990)

Combat Missions. I played alot only 2 year ago. Really like the new one too. Combat Mission 2 3-5k point PBEM games are still awesome.

Master of Orion 2, since it's gui is still pretty comfortable.
Can't be said for MoM, sadly.

AoEII. I'd play LotR II if I still had my copy :(

Age of Conquerors,
Age of Mythology
Warcraft 3: The frozen throne
Civ 3

X-COM: Ufo Defence(1993)
The best game i've ever played.

I just rebought Evil Genius, on Steam this time and holy ! I had forgotten how fun this game is. Highly recommendable if you got 10 Euros to throw away on something that makes you laugh. I already finished it, but have a save game from
Spoiler :
the start of the second island so I can return and try out other base designs and traps

I've only played the first map, I think, and ended up quitting before it apparently got really good.

I had the same problem with Evil Genius. I quit (probably to early).

One thing though, Evil Genius probably wins the title of "most often on sale" game on the internet. Paying 10$ or more for it is a crime as it seems at least once a month an online outlet has it for 2$

Oh man, Evil Genius, frustrating as hell because they were so fricking close to making a truly amazing game but they just couldn't quite make it there. Better security cameras, more islands, a better world domination screen and a bit more spit'n'polish and it would have been just fantastic. Still very fun though, if you can stop yourself thinking about what might have been.

My oldest I still play is MOO2, though I did fire up xcom again a while ago.

The most recent time I played a 10+ year old strategy game, it was The Corporate Machine (2001). Fun, but needs more intermediate difficulty levels. Normal is too easy, Hard is too hard.

Less recently but likely still in the mix are Civ3 (2001), Railroad Tycoon II (1998), and Age of Empires II (1999). AoE II won't play reliably on either my native video card or on my unstable Windows 95 VMs, but I ought to have that problem fixed fairly soon, and then it's back to The Conquerors. It unfortunately wasn't as fun when I got Blue Screens of Death during half the games.

X-com, such a brilliant game. It still runs on my Windows 7 (I run it through Steam, best $5 I ever spent)
