[GS] Only the Zulu can have GDR armies

GDR would be more like Destroy Gundam or Neo Zeong on Wheels

More people have heard of Gundam I think. I've not heard of "unicorn" in the context of giant robots. Unicorns make me think of HOMM 3 and 5. Like giant robots, they can make you literally go blind, but they are not comprised of very much metal.

heh... unicorns make me think of SJWs... wish I had a GDR to deal with them. :D

I thought unicorn in some contexts referred to rarely seen things? I've seen it used in context to describe a powerful AI nation in EU 4 emerging despite that it doesn't exist at the start.

I don't think SJWs are sufficiently rare to soil the term this way, if we're taking it this route I'd rather just have it mean a robot with a horn on its head or something after all :D.
 
I tried it, but my GDR's won't turn into armies. The only one I got an army from was from Napoléon Bonaparte. I tried taking cities 2 different ways with my Zulu GDR's, one using the A command, the other using the move to command. Conquered 2 cities, but no army.

Tried it 4 times, can't get it to work.

Yeah I didn’t get the upgrade to an army either. I specifically started a game to do this and beelined to Robotics and no success getting a corps or army upgrade when taking a city.

Is there something I am missing? Although I got the ranged upgrade for the GDR and it’s two shots and a 99 defense city was rubble.

  • Great Generals that transform a military unit into a Corps or Army can no longer do so for the GDR, which is not allowed to be a Corps or Army.

Not confirmed. That’s only a fix to Great Generals, not Zulu’s UA.
 
I can't get Zulu GDR's to turn into armies. Are we sure this isn't a hoax? Pics or it didn't happen.

The wording is more restrictive than just GG. GDRs can't be turned into corps/armies. Period. That is how I read it. They just worded it backwards causality-wise.
