I see the ad banner is gone with purchase but they want a pretty hefty price for a browser.Havn't they heard that MS is giving IE away for free..I mean um made it an intrical part of the os adding functionality and a user freindly interface ;)

The ad doesn't bother me. I have my system at a 1024 x 768, so it's not that big. That and it's not in the middle of the page. So I can deal with it.

The problem is there's always a patch needed with IE. Always have to worry about what it's pulling from your system. That and the resources it uses are so darn high. I love Opera. I'll never go back.

The ad doesn't really bother me that much but it does effect the viewable window size abit.It would be nice to get the paid version, but thats just too much for a browser I'm afraid. That would be US funds as well

I should correct myself abit and say the add in Incredimail is far less intrusive and 80% of the time it is a clock!

It really is a great browser.I just wish the internet was more freindly to it.Or maybe its my OS that needs to be more freindly to it :scan:

If you run an ad blocker, the ad won't change... mine stayed as "opera", and I have animated GIF turned off in AtGuard.

Since AtGuard doesn't seem to be available anymore, could anyone recommend a currently available ad blocker that works with Opera running on win9x? I took a look on tucows.com, but they all appeared to run exclusively with IE and/or Netscape.
