On the Europe map playing as Britain (real locations) I have the biggest army in Europe and not surprisingly a relatively large kickass Navy.

Now some of the leaders are starting to boil my blood and quite frankly I am ready to inflict harm on them. However Borders are restricting me currently to show these Nations that I am not messing around. What I'm talking about is boarders of other nations who we are not on best terms with but who are not frustrating me. It has got me thinking, if only we had an option to just ignore there boarders (land or sea) and proceed without declaring war on that nation. Telling them "we are passing through weather you like it or not" and the reason to why you are passing. Then it's up to the leaders to then decide what happens next, they either let us pass with caution or they attack and intercept anything that enters there boarder. The second option would obviously lead to the two Nations going to war.

Using this feature would also have other Diplomatic consequence's.

Uh dude, this is already in the game, its called "open boarders" You should have been pelted with requests for this about 1000 times at this point.

Yes I am aware of these 'open boarders' but the problem I face is the country's are rejecting them because of not being on good terms. I believe it would be good to be able to force open boarders at times. Maybe I'm just being unrealistic.

Normally you can toss in a couple gold per term and they'll accept. Just ask "what will make this deal work?"

They may say that you need to give them Open Borders 2 gold per turn and 5 horses and 2 iron. You can almost always delete the resources and they still accept and much of the time you can delete OB and they still accept.

I have tried this a few times and when I hit the what will make it work option it always comes back with nothing. Another example is when a CIV I wasn't 'friendly' asked me to go to war I accepted it in a aim to improve relations. I proceeded to plan an attack and to my surprise I was denied open boarders by the CIV who asked me to enter the war with there neighbours, this simply made it too difficult to attack. In the end I just gave up and let them fight the war.

Good news! This feature is in game! It's voice activated - look at your opponent, and say, "I'm going to enter your borders. I'd like to do it peacefully, but I'll declare war if I have to. Your choice." Then tell your troops to enter. Turns out he always picks 'war'.

You want to march an army through someone else's territory without an open borders agreement. What do you think war is?
