I'm not sure if the following is different from Vanilla or not, since it's been a while since I've played either.
I have transparent diplomacy turned on, and it is the Classical Era. I'm Austria, and I have positive diplomatic modifiers of +45 and +60 from Germany and Russia, saying "We have shared intrigue with them."
Can anybody explain to me what this means? I don't think I ever even had any intrigue to share, and spies don't exist in the Classical Age.
If it matters, the other civs in the game are Russia, Denmark, and Inca.
