I think this wonder needs a slight nerf.
It provides 500 science, almost equal to a full late medival era tech (they are 550), and as much culture.
If you manage (I managed on emperor) to delay building it while teching to education (ie next era) you get even more since gains scales with era.
I'm not sure what the correct downgrade should be but it feels too strong as it is now.

Yeah the era scaling is pretty strange. I find you can often get education (or even chivalry) before completing it, on immortal. It's already a good wonder, and if you're already ahead the era scaling makes you snowball even harder.

If you get the medieval bonus its just broken. The classical era bonus is already a very good wonder.

I agree, keep it at whatever it would be if you completed it in the era it is unlocked and call it a day imo. Still a great wonder but not abusable.

You could go with a 850 culture/science straight up, no scaling. Something like that.
I think 500 is enough. How many turns does it take parthenon to match 500 culture? The Parthenon is a really good wonder, (building it makes you more likely to win the game)

A thought: Maybe all instant yields on construction just shouldn't ever scale on era?

Currently, I delay circus/zoos as long as possible so that I can increase the bonus on construction from them. If I construct the world's fair WC project, I immediately build circuses in every city that doesn't already have them. I'm not sure if the +100% culture works on instant yields, but holding off until industrial/Modern still nets me an extra 400-600:c5culture:, or 800-1200:c5culture:, for each circus constructed in Industrial/Modern.

If we take that whole table off of era scaling then we don't have to have separate code for the Oracle, and I see no points in favor of rewarding players for delaying construction of these buildings so directly.

Bonuses don't affect bonus yields, but neither do penalites (full culture for circuses in puppets).

I find the circus interesting as the trade off is there. Early culture is more valuable than later culture, and sometimes I want the WLTKD now. However, other buildings, such as the zoo, are obviously better if you wait to build.
