as for adding the 3rd trait do you need the DLL for that? I'm working on another mod and I would like to adding another trait for a total of 3 traits.

I believe so, but it's been awhile since I've modded. However, if you take a peek over in the C2C forum thread, there is a modding sub-forum that gives excellent tips on it.
