Other human player can't find hosted game

Hello there,

I'm trying to load a saved multiplayer game with my friend. We started yesterday and I, as the host, turned autosave so it'll save the game every turn.

I went on Multiplayer > Local Network > Host Game > Load Game and loaded the most recent autosave. My friend then on local network but could not see my game whereas on my screen, it would say that he is missing (I could either exclude him and proceed or proceed if he comes).

Do you know what might be happening?

1-You can't see private games(if you previously made it private)
2-Make sure to be on the same local region
3-More easier, just let him join the game from the friends menu(join game). That way, everyone from anywhere on the globe can join the game without manually change the region

Thanks for the swift reply. I think you think I am using Steam but unfortunately I am not... Just the most basic multiplayer over local network possible I guess.
