Which things work outside the working radius of any city? IIRC, renewable power gets added to the city even if the tile is not worked, and farms contribute to the adjacency bonus (they look horrible unworked, though). Anything else? Housing? Natural parks?

Something that I think that would be nice would be that you could place some kind of outpost that provides half the surrounding yields to a city from tiles outside of reach. Would definitely be great for more spaced out cities and one-city challenges.

You can benefit from amenities hooked up in the fourth ring of tiles and also extract strategic resources like Iron. You can also chop woods.

Never paid attention to this before I tried a few One City Challenge games, where it actually makes a difference.

You mean luxuries or amenities from improvements like the city park?

I meant luxuries like Coffee and such. Actually in my last game I realized unique City State improvement benefits also work. I used Monasteries from Armagh to boost Housing up enough to hit 35 pop. You can't actually work a 4th ring Monastery tile for faith, but the Housing gets added.

Yeah, and amenities as well, like the one from the golf club.
