^I guess tens of millions of Russians are racist then, given this olympic gold winner is in their own parliament, and seems pretty popular too.

As the wiki article I posted makes quite clear, the director of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights thinks that half the Russians are xenophobic. But I wouldn't suspect such statements are going to have much bearing on your continuing rationalization and defense of the indefensible. 
Maybe they need a final solution against *nearly* half of the Russians
Can't have this sort of ticking-bomb on the well-being of the entire world.

Why don't you try explaining again how racism is not a major problem, as you continue to provide such excellent examples of just the opposite.

And it wasn't me who "labeled" them as being xenophobic. It is their own director of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights. I'm merely reporting what he stated.
What do you offer that massive amounts of bigotry don't exist in Russia? Their attitudes towards homosexuals? Their own star athlete being an obvious racist? Do you have any other examples that show just the opposite of your own personal opinions?
