This is a funny site. Clocking a 486 SX 25 mHz to a whopping 247 mHz. A factor of 9.880!!! One of the best overclockings I've ever seen!!!!

But try and fix the problem at the end!

I like the webpage. Sounds like fun. I have some old Pentium 1s and Pentium Pros laying around. I will try that <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif" border=0>

Wow! I feel weird reviving such an ancient thread but I got an idea:)

That expirement shoud be tried again in alaska using liquid nitrogen as a supplemental coolent:)

Ah, the good old days! I remember the time when we culd use HTML when posting. I also remember the idiot that ruined that.

As to OCing. I am happy with my no exra cooling needed Duron750 OCed to 950. I got it up to 1k+ before but even though it booted it crashed too often for me. I like stability. :)

Bah I don't see anything glorious overclocking to a factor ~10. I daily overclock my mononeuronal brain system to a factor 100 so... :p
I think now almost at lightspeed, or maybe 69Ghz. And I don't need any fan to cool it. I'm still fine. At least I think so :)

PS: yeah I like the number 69. Don't ask me why. Period.
