In my quest for a new system, I have realized that there are several different brands of mobo's out there, and they will contribute to the speed (or lack thereof) of the computer. Hey, I don't do hardware. . .
So one system I'm looking at has the 875p, and the other is the 865PE. Is there a real difference between them? Should I stick to a certain kind, or not?
I'm pretty much set on the P4, but I might end up going the way of the AthalonXP. If they come out with a fast enough chip. (Looking for longevity here. Speed + Expansionability = longevity in my book.)
