Pre Turn
There are still two Temples needed to make nine of each religion. Tours is about to complete the ninth Taoist Temple, while Orleans has both a Buddhist Stupa and a Jewish Temple to complete. I rush the Stupa.
A few of the builds I switch around, with some switching to ‘Wealth’, while Paris gets ‘Culture’.
I queue up the Forbidden Palace in Marseilles.
The Workers are ordered to move to the Mines and the Lumbermills for Railroading, starting with the Culture cities and Neapolis.
Run at 80%

/ 0%

that will give us Mass Media in four turns.
Ananda is sent down to Orleans. Taoism is more widely spread (5%) than Confucianism (3%) and Orleans could benefit from the extra 4

of the shrine.
Civic-wise we are in the expensive Organised Religion and aren’t using Free Property – but the cost of a Revolution is hard to justify. Organised Religion is Brennus’ favourite civic, so it’s not all bad.
1872 – 1886
As planned, the Dia Miao is founded.
Lyons begins work on the Taoist Pagoda, and Orleans builds its Buddhist Stupa and begins work on the last Jewish Temple. The Jewish Temple gets rushed after a small

contribution.
A Hindu Missionary arrives in Spain. Isabella’s in Theocracy, and I suspect the Missionary has little value other than as an observer. He’s sent towards the south where he can look over both an English and a Spanish city, just to gauge their military upgrades.
Brennus requests that we cancel our deals with Isabella. Sorry, but “no” (1874).
Victoria builds Hollywood. Well, that’s that. 100%

with most cities building ‘Wealth’.
Now that we’ve rushed The Eiffel Tower we pop a Great Engineer. There was a thought that he could rush the Jewish Synagogue and save us 760ish

but a Golden Age might be handy if there’s another unexpected Great Person.
Marseilles finishes the Forbidden Palace and saves us a bit of cash.
Paris’ Rice Farm was switched to a Workshop in order to hurry along The Eiffel Tower, but it has become more valuable as a Farm again, that can support another Specialist Artist as well as provide a small cash trade for Isabella.
Little else happens of great note other than having the Workers convert Roads to Railroads, and thereby adding to our small cash surplus.
1888 – 1900
Unfortunately a lot of leaders come knocking, demanding that we cancel our deals with their rivals and what-not, which has an unfortunate impact on our overall standings.
Frederick demands we cancel deals with Ragnar (1890).
Isabella demands that we adopt Theocracy (1898) – I actually thought for a second or two about this one.
Ragnar demands that we cancel deals with Frederick (1900). I gift him Electricity, but he is still not a happy camper.
Consequently Isabella has gone from ‘Pleased’ to ‘Cautious’, while Ragnar has gone from ‘Cautious’ to ‘Annoyed’.
In 1890, one of Tours’ Mines pops a Gems resource. We can trade or gift this extra gems if we want.
In 1896, Victoria builds the United Nations.
By way of summary;
Victoria is charging ahead with her Spaceship, having built all of the Casings and Thrusters, but nothing else.
Both Ragnar and Isabella have me somewhat wary – but I’d gamble that we will win before we get seriously attacked. We have some financial reserves for upgrades, or some of the ‘Wealth’ cities can go back to producing Artillery.
Relations are slightly more acrimonious than they have been.
Paris (1097

per turn) is about to pop a Great Artist, and we already have one in waiting.
By my reckoning - 11 turns if all goes accordingly.
