Hi Pie, tnx for the new patch and your work on this mod! So far, trade caravans automatic routes seem to not work properly. They wont go in other nation territory, they just came back to the city and sell resource again. Hope save file will help

So, I hope with patch 7.11d every bug is working now ! Please have a look.

Another trade related suggestion.
A Wagon can't charge resources if they're in another civs territory and that civ hasn't
connected the resource, even though collecting it would be allowed in neutral territory.
This presents the odd cases where a player could collect seeds for Oats in the wilderness
but not if they're in a farm next to a city, simply because the owning civ hasn't discovered
Water Storage, or where both civs have discovered the resource but it can't be collected
because there isn't an improvement on it yet. Allow collecting resources owned by another
civ even if unconnected or undiscovered, by sending a Wagon to the space the resource is on.
But this is possible. You can buy the resource or you can steal it with more than 100 espionage points against the enemy.

Profit is good now, only i noticed that when doing automatic routes emoji is not displayed in another civ for resource they don't have or is this because of the profit now

It is shown, when choosing the CIV not the step later, when choosing one city of the civ. otherwise it will shown next to every city or next to none.

I can't buy seeds if the other civ hasn't discovered and connected the grain resource. If it was in neutral territory, I'd be able to load seeds.

How do you cultivate resources using espionage? I can't find any option to steal resources, and even if you can then doing that would still require the other civ to have discovered and connected the resource.

As an example, Rye. I can see it in their territory but they don't know it exists yet (Water Storage), so I can't buy seeds from them. I have to keep wandering til I find another Rye in neutral territory before the game will let me collect it.
 
Program:Script/Wacapew.A!ml: THX! I checked that and puh... everything's fine. Win Defender can warn because of having python files downloaded. But you can check them. there is no bad coding in there.

I use Win Defender (active protection) and checked my files with F-Secure now. Everything's ok.

And it's good to check for viruses by the time! and to check if a protection is up to date.


Unknown resource: did you go on the plot with a wagon? the cities don't have this, because they don't know them!

It's a false positive. The !ml refers to machine learning algorithm used for detection without execution. It probably detected suspicious behavior that's common with malware, like code injection and other techniques used for modding games.

I was able to download the recent update with no problem.

Yes. Here's an example:

The top Wagon can't collect Oats because the other civ hasn't discovered them yet.
The bottom Wagon can collect them from neutral territory.

If the other civ has discovered them but hasn't built a Farm, they can't be collected.
The bottom Wagon can collect them from neutral territory without needing a Farm.

It just seems odd to me that a Farm is only needed if it's in another civ's territory, and you can't pick up seeds you can see unless the other civ also knows they're there.
Resources in neutral territory have neither of these restrictions.

I was suggesting that the rules be consistent, and Wagons are always able to collect a resource as long as the Wagon can see it.

Strange... ok, I have to change the python command for getBonusType(iOwner)... it seems to change iOwner to iViewer/iActualPlayer ;)

I've uploaded a new patch for 7.12:

Patch 7.12e:

- Trade update: finishMoves() when selling goods instead of buying
- Trade units can't be loaded onto ships
- Fix (SDK): Globe view fix and upgrade: strategic, health and food resources (thx to Ameranth)
- Fix (Python): Picking up resources from enemy terrain (thx to Ameranth)
- Fix (a try) (Python): buildings for marble and fur
- Espionage update: passive less, active higher points
- Units without free moves can't get loaded onto ships
- Preparation for a new feature for and during the Migration Period

Save game compatible. I hope all things are fixed.

I stop modding for a week for eventual bugs and fixing. If everything works fine, I'll start adding some new XML stuff. This means, no save game compatibilty if I do that.
