I recommend holding that card. We are all over the Black Plague zone RN. An outbreak in the wrong place is way more dangerous and could happen any time.

Because like if we survive this round, we can handle Delhi and all of a sudden we have no more 3-cube cities in danger and we’re a lot more free to just start focusing down disease and moving around to trade cards for the cure.

Intensification The infection discard pile has been shuffled and returned to the infection deck. Cities already infected will suffer more damage.
INFECTION DRAW
The Blood Flood disease is intensifying in the city of Beijing. Despite the best efforts of Timsup2nothin and other doctors, the city reached a critical level of patients. [Beijing receives one red cube.]
As previously feared, the city of Bogotá is hit with a large amount of Yellow Fever patients. Despite its familiar name, no cure exists for this dangerous disease. Rumors that it is unstoppable have sent tension levels soaring in the region. [Bogotá receives one yellow cube.]

State of the World:
@Golden1Knight:
You are currently stationed at the CDC Research Station in Atlanta. You have 4 actions. Choose any in a mix and match fashion:
Drive/Ferry: Move to a connected city.
Direct Flight: Discard a card to fly to that city.
Charter Flight: Discard a card to fly from that city to anywhere.
Shuttle Flight: Move between research stations.
Treat Disease: Remove 3 Disease Cubes from your city. (Cured cubes are removed automatically.)
Discover a Cure: Spend 5 cards of the same color at a research station to cure a disease.
Share Knowledge: Take a card that matches your city with someone also in that city. Or, as the researcher, you may give one of your cards to another player in your city (it does not have to match.)
Build Research Station: Discard a card matching your current city to build a research station in your current city.

You are the Medic.
You have two special abilites:
1. You remove all cubes of one color when treating disease, even when the disease is not cured.
2. If a disease is cured, all cubes of that color are automatically removed when you are in a city (and therefore no more cubes can be placed there while you stay there).

We don’t actually have to deal with Algiers because it’s impossible for any more cubes to be put on there except by an outbreak in an adjacent city. We only have to really worry if the next epidemic card shows up adjacent to Algiers. (Granted, that’s likely enough that we probably can’t afford to ignore it)
