Pangea, Continents, or Archipelago...which do you prefer?

I like Pangea, because there can be enormous empires that occupy a huge bulk of land, and constant "action" between the civs, and corruption isn't as irritating.
I like Archipelago, because I can have a long phase of exploration, a relative isolation in the early game, encountering new civilization during a much longer span of time, and play naval warfare.
I like Continents, because it's both the most "realistic" setting, and it's balanced.

So, well, I'll go for "random" ^^

I much prefer Archipelago because I tend to have to play on standard size maps (my 'puter is really slow). With a higher amount of water, this tends to leave some land-masses unreachable until astronomy is researched, which I feel adds a bit more realism to the game. I also like the importance of having a navy

Pangea, Pangaea, whatever. We all know that both are referring to the large-single landmass type world with a couple of islands around it.

Random for me, but Pangea is best for conquest (naturally), while continents is better for domination (build out the home continent).

I haven't had an archepelago in awhile.

My last loosing game was spain on an island off the coast of a crowded continent.

I like continents...I like to dominate my own land mass and then take some time to gear up for a massive D-Day on another continent. I hate marching troops half way around the world.

I play with all with random settings (even the starting civ). I am probably the most comfortable playing continents though, then pangaea.

I like pangea for Celts and Iroquois, continents for a change of pace and
archipelago for my Vikings . I almost always play one of these three
civs when I play. I like pangeas best- because the AIs can get at each other
quicker and more often .

For me its: Continents, Pangaea, than Archipelago. Why? I like Continents because (it was earlier said) world wars between continents are awsome and that taking over a continent is fun. Pangaea is average because I like all of the wars but on harder dificulties in can be almost impossible (especially with all comp players). I hate Archipelago with all the islands and taking forever to defeat an opponent.
