Hi guys,
Got email from Onan asking me to sub in. I'm willing, but can't do tonight (Wednesday NZ time). I'll stay posted though for other arrangements.

We could try Friday, in two days, if everyone can make it then. Everyone being Tabarnak, zalta, Awesome, Alistair subbing for Kyp, and me.

Since it looks like we won't have enough players tonight, I may not check in at the time. I'll have a look on steam now and try to let anyone on know. Anyone else, who may've stayed up late / woke up early for this and is reading this now, apologies.

Friday is ok, just to get things going again. I'm afraid I will generally lobby to be finishing a little earlier than before, since I have a new job that actually requires me to get up in the morning, unless we play on Saturdays/Sundays.

Game over. We can't sub Kyp in this game even with a complete stranger! I decided to let a souvenir of this game showing my land at the last turn of the game.

I think what we've learned here is to NEVER ever try to sub a dead player back in as another civ. It seems to do irreparable harm to the game.

I suspect if we hadn't done this first, we could have had Eadan or someone else sub successfully.

I'll be taking a break from these over the holidays--lots of family here until mid-January and we'll be out of town, too. Merry xmas everyone!
