Patch 1.09-Does PBEM Password reset?

I have since installed the 1.09 patch. The Single Player works fine.

After receiving latest save file for my PBEM, it comes to part where I have to input my password and after I do, then click ok, nothing happens. I can keep clicking ok and ditto..nothing changes. If I click cancel, password screen goes away and then
initialization completes, screen goes black a sec and I am back to Main
Menu!

How do I resolve this? Thanks

Great I have exactly the same problem and i hope that a some kind of patch will be released to solve the problem.

In the meantime just reinstall the game and play without the patch, in this way it works...don't try to take out the password either that it won't work, the pass can only be changed.

So disinstall and play untill a patch solve the problem.

They've encrypted passwords now, right? So picture this:

Pre Patch your password is saved in an unencrypted format.
Post Patch you put your password in, the system encrypts it (as it's meant to *now*), and compares it to an unencrypted password from the previous version.

Net result? No match!

I'd submit it as a bug report (and, as a side note, it's really peeing me off - as a programmer and applications developer - to see such amateurish solutions being thrown forward by Firaxis ... it's like they never think something through!!!)
