Just see the patch came out on PC and updated my Switch version, which is now 1.2.4 from 1.2.3

This is a free update for all users, not just owners of the DLC season pass. If patch didn;t auto-download, you can force it to download by hitting "+" and selecting software update via the Internet

On my very quick check
They have fixed
- UI issues with science victory
-UI issues with help text (pressing Y) for each othe victory conditions
- Radiation visual effect on tiles after nuclear attack on tiles now show properly
- Stretched leader portrails at game set-up is now fixed

From @RDomico
- Touch screen controls for unit movement fixed

Post your findings and I can update this OP.
Thanks!

Really nice to see continuous support from Aspyr. I have few things to check out now too. Hopefully I have some time to play soon.

which should have been fixed from get-go. I am afraid Sweden bug hasn't been fixed despite me reporting it to 2K few days ago. I REALLY liked Nobel Prize....

I'm having a error every time I try to play and this is after this patch. Is anyone have the same problem ?

Nope, no problems, I would make sure it is actually on 1.2.4 (there was a 2nd patch that seems to have downloaded again yesterday but version stay at 1.2.3) and you have the right DLCs installed if you are using cloud saves from PC.

Thanks man and nop just playing on switch and I got the last update.
I checked for corruption date, Transfer the game into switch memory, Clear the cache.

So now I'm going to reinstall the game fingers crossed it works again

Is anyone experiencing an issue with the tooltips? Apart from those that appear on the map (such as the ones that give details on units and buildings), they seem to be gone from my game altogether after the update.

For instance, when I looked at civics and science that were going to be researched, I used to see a tooltip telling me what I am going to get by finishing the job. Now, I get nothing, and I have to instead go into Civilopedia to look for the details, which is a chore. :undecide:

The same goes for tooltips that explain what the icons of the commands for units do. Thankfully I know those by heart, so that is not that big of a problem. But it still kind of annoying.

Yeah I'm having the same issues. The major problem for me are the Great People other than GWs, GArtists and GMs. I'll accept them, then I prefer to check out what they do and figure out what I want done with them then (I find it easier to think, especially since it highlights where they can go). I could just Google it but that's besides the point.

Another issue is that on the initial score screen I can only see myself and one other person, the rest I have to go to the detailed screen.

Seems to have fixed the disappearing cursor, though.

Phew, sounds like a bunch of new problems have surfaced also. Lets see how long the quick fix takes this time...

Yeah, I have also had some trouble with Great People. I hope they fix it soon.

I can confirm this is an issue, but as someone pointed out on reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/Civ_Ninten...tch/fw0snir?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

It's just delayed, if you hover over the icon for 1 second, the tooltip will pop up. I tested this myself on a regular builder and a Great person.

When you select a unit, it defaults on the 'move to' arrow, and the tooltip won't show no matter how long you wait, but as soon as you hit left or right to the next action and wait for a second, it shows up.

So it's just a bit delayed.
Suggest we all send in a ticket to flag it.

Thanks

On my end, that behavior is somewhat irregular. Sometimes it shows up with some delay (as you mentioned), but sometimes not even by waiting does it appear. :undecide:

I'd even go as far as saying the second is more common. But yeah, we should raise the issue.

It works pretty consistently for me, I just have to wait a couple of seconds. Still not good enough, really. What is broken is you used to be able to tap the retire button if it was shaded out and it would tell you the effect (or hold it, if it wasn't shaded out).

I miss the days where bugs were rare in normal usage of a game.

City Recommendations tooltip doesn't seem to work either.

And when I select a Settler and press B to cancel out, the cursor disappears! If i move around with left stick I can see terrain tooltips popup but not the cursor! If I do press A somewhere it re-appears. Anyone else have this issue?

It's been like that for a while now, I thought it was fixed by NFP Patch, it seemed to stop being an issue for me at least.

I see. I only started playing a week ago and didn’t notice it before updating to the latest patch.

one bug is down... more appeared. This is the pattern we are in people! We kill a bug 2 more appears. WTH is this hydra?
overall VERY disappointing patch for switch owners. Asper is usless
