Patch 174 for internet not working

Ok, I download the patch, patch 174 i think it is, and it works, so i go onto Civ4. When I go to Internet Games, It says I need to download the same patch. I keep doing this,and every time it says that the download was succesful, but on the game, it says i need to download it again! Please help!

Try downloading FROM the game.

I go to the internet games, and then, this bar comes up and says the fraction of bytes downloaded. it then says it will exit the game and then the installer thing pops up. the bar thing gets full, and it says download successful. but still, if i go to Civ4 and go to internet games, it says that i need to downnload the same patch. it's a continuos cycle.

Same thing with me exept,it succesfully downloads then says "click ok to close game and install" once nothing happened and i tried again,so same thing exept it said "incountered iliegal instruction click close to close program" there is a ignore button but it does the same thing...


P.S. your right he is butt ugly
