Patch installs on wrong drive

I have Civ4 installed on a different drive than the C Drive, so it installs it where there is no game. Is there any way to change where the patch installs itself

It should not matter where the game is installed, I have my game installed on D: and had no problem running the patch. The patch installer will look at the registry and see where the game was originally installed and then apply the patch there. The only way there would be a problem is if you moved the game folder after you installed it.
