Patch not fixed pointer vanishing

This patch has not fixed the problem I have had ever since the very first patch and that is of my mouse pointer freezing but moving the mouse occasionally touches something and spasmodically highlights it. When this happens I literally have to reboot, because the mouse under windows just vanishes. I habve tried both a wheeled mouse nad an optical with the same results. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results and it is only this game that does this.

I also had this problem. After I updated my video card driver the problem went away. This is as of last week.

My video card Nvidia GeForce 6600 is only about 8 months old but I am downloading the latest drivers for it, again. Thanks for the advice
