Patch! Now cities don't connect!

I downloaded patch v1.29f yesterday and now my cities don't connect with harbors!

Also, I can't trade with other Civs- always says "we need a sea-route..."


ahhhhhhh!

Anyone know what may of happened?

I deleted the patch, and will try to re-install the game.

Advice?

you know it could just be tha the other civ's cities dont have harbors. just a thought...

No, they have harbors, not only that but my cities are showing "unconnected" although I have numerous harbors on both islands.

So, where are you in the tech tree?

There are three different tiles: coast, sea and ocean. You can trade via coast tiles from scratch (+ harbours of course). To trade via sea and ocean you need technology (astronomy for sea and magnetism for ocean).

Edit: you're saying 1.29f and that's vanilla. Forget about what I wrote.
