Patch problem

I got the game a few days ago, and went to go play online this morning. It told me to install a patch, so i did. I downloaded it and installed it, and now it won't work.

It says "This application has failed to start because D3DX9_32.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"

Except it won't let me re-install until I uninstall, and I can't find the uninstall button. Can someone help me either just get it to work now, or uninstall/reinstall it?

where did you get the directx from when you tried this?

Anyways, I tried the one that you posted and still no dice. It says DirectX is installed with the latest version, but the game still won't play.
