Patch problems for BTS

I keep having to do Patch_319 I believe it is after installing the Complete Edition of Civ4. Not sure why it is not working. It fully downloads and then asks me to hit okay to install. Right before the program closes another dialog box pops up that I don't have time to read... Someone help me get it to patch right please? It is a fairly big patch and I don't want to miss out on it...

You will need to download and install the patch outside of the game, do not use the in-game update, it doesn't work for 3.19.

Download the patch (you can find it in the downloads on Civ Fanatics) and save it to your computer. If you have have Vista or Win 7 make sure that you right-click on the patch to run it and choose run as administrator.

I had the same problem. Make sure to download both patch 3.17e and 3.19 and install 3.17e before installing 3.19 - do it outside the game. Thanks fro the tip: art_vandalay

If BTS has not been patched then patching to 3.17 before patching to 3.19 will often help it to install better. I think however that Complete is already patched to 3.17.

Avoid user Thunderfalls upload of patch 3.19 cause it seems to be a bad joke. its an uninstall exe of bts.
