hi guys
I am afriad that due to unforseen circumstances beoynd my control, it seems like I wont be able to load up any Civ4 game until 4th Jan when im back to my comp...

However, since this seems to be flowing along quite nicely at the moment, I dont want to stall it so I could send my password and instructions for the next few turns to Argh, and let him play my turns until then. As we are still in the ealy stages of the game I recon that will be ok, since all that really needs to be done is to move the scouting units around (everything else is qd up). And since the map isnt centered yet it wont provide him with any extra infomation anyway (apart from the terrain around my capital), and as he proved in his anarchy game he´s more than able to follow instructions

I´ll PM my password to argh now, and then he can forward the game on to Wolfman.

I really don't want to gain any sort of advantage over Turtle, by seeing his starting location this early on. If the majority of players agree, then I say we wait till he gets back. However, if the majority don't want to wait, then I will play Turtle's turns for him.

(Bear in mind that I am away myself for 2 - 3 nights from xmas eve).

Personally, I think this is ok. Not much is given away, like they said.. he'll be back way before Calendar is discovered, and if anything, he just loses a bit of secrecy in what terrain is around his city.

This early in the game, I'm all for it. Unless anyone is absolutely against it, then I say we continue.

Also, my partners birthday, well.. today (2:00am here).. plus xmas tomorrow.. i guess it goes without saying this game won't go far over the next few days.. but if i'm on, and i see my turn, i'll play.. of course.

I just got a turn through, which I have done. I believe Turtle is supposed to be back now, so I have sent the save to him, rather than playing it for him.

If he doesn't respond in a day or so, then I'll play his turn and assume he's still on holiday.
