PBEM : black city screen when loading

Hi,

I play C3C v1.22 (US).

When loading a pbem game, at the beginning, when I zoom to city to give building orders, I got a weird "black city screen" (see attached file). All my friends have the same problem (since 1.22 patch).

Does anyone know that ? Is there a way to fix this ?

No way to stop it - just happens. Have to adjust things in the city screen once you have gone through all the starting messages.

At the beginning it's not a big issue, but when you have 20+ cities, it's very very annoying... Why did they change that ?

They did that because in PTW you could see the whole map behind. Since C3C added the fog of war, they had to choose a way to hide the map and they made it completely black.

That is not the best solution but at least it prevents players from seeing the entire map.

I would see the point if only they had find a way to hide the map on the password screen when you play in hot-seat (or pbem played as a hot-seat), but it's not the case at all, this bug is still there...
