PBEM for newbies

I am interested in a PBEM game, though I have never played one that way before.

I am willing to coordinate a new game to begin for the first week of August, but would prefer someone who has played at least one PBEM game before to host.

I am open to feedback, but if I were to set up the game, this is what I would recommend (since it's a first time 'trial' PBEM game):

1) Standard? map.

2) All victory conditions.

3) Maxium players per map setting - hopefully all human, but if not enough people are interested the remaining spots will be computer controlled.

4) PTW v1.27 (get your update!)

5) I encourage players who generally play on Warlord, Regent, or Monarch game settings - but anyone can join.

6) oh, and please have the ability to post your turns ASAP, this game will take a while as it is!

Everything is open to general player request, and I welcome all!

Hey,

I have never played by email before either, but will like to play if one starts off.


Although I usually play monarchy or higher and if 1v1 will generally attack if other civ is prime for it.

Although also with 8 players will probably be more laid back due to not wanting to be the "bad guy" that everyone teams up on.

So if you need 1 more then please allow me to play.

I'm Ready to go, I dont really know how this works, but I assume that someone starts including each players email and the file is then sent in turn to each player by email, correct?

It is very easy, you can host without problems.
If you want, by the way, I can host myself.
