Perhaps I made a mistake trying to utilize a representative form of government for this game. While I appreciate the efforts made to get the game going so we can squeeze out an extra turn tonight, please don't think I'm OK with someone usurping my leadership of this game. :nono: Killer, please send me a PM with the administrative password at your earliest convenience. Also, although I am sure there will be no need for me to do so, I am serving notice that I intend to retain the tie-breaking vote in case there is something we need to decide once the game gets underway. :king:

reagan: I would never take over your game! It is just that grouping people by timezone is a smart idea usually, and having someone neutral set it up and have the password is the sensible thing to do!

That YOU decide things here is clear. But things were actually all in your posts!
 
@col - I got your e-mail. Thanks (one more time) for helping to set the game up!

@Killer - I have read a lot of SG and PBEM threads and seen how games can fall apart quickly when someone tries to take over a game someone else is leading. It appeared that this game was headed off course, so I simply tried to make it clear I still have both hands on the steering wheel. I like the concept of this game variant and also like that its participants seem dedicated to making it work. This should be a fun game, although I'll probably be one of the first to be eliminated. :eek:

@everyone - Inflection can get lost on message boards and e-mail, so if anything I said came across as harsh, it wasn't meant to be and I apologize. In Civ3 diplomacy terms, my attitude never went below "Cautious" at any point. It's back up to "Polite" and hopefully everyone's will stay that way. :)

Thanks to Killer I learned a lot very quickly on how to set up a PBEM on a user designed map. I hadnt used the editor much before and I wasnt sure how to launch a PBEM game with a given map.

If anyone wants some info on how to do it, then PM or email me. (My email address must be all over the place now - I can tell by the increase in spam I've been getting.)
 
I had never received the game. That means either Melifluous, WildFire444, or Sashaddin has it.
 
Probably Meli - he's been away for a couple of days work related I think.
