PBEM Game Concept -- Tag Teams

Who's got the game??

Last one I had got sent 2/7 about 5am GMT.

From the previous posts, looks like it may be stuck between Meli, WF444, Sash and Myzenium...

Received 3900 BC the third time. Sent to Isildurs Heir. Same old, same old. :(

Where's the breakdown occurring? If we're going to keep playing the same turn over and over, what's the point?

Hey, I'm already getting better with that turn. Why would you want to change it???

Here's my suggestion to diagnose this "breakdown":

Roll call. Say whether you've ever seen the 3850 BC game file.

I'm here, and I have NOT seen that file.

I can't say for sure Myz, but I don't think I ever saw that turn. It's hard for me to say tho cause I can only have 1 file saved per each game that I'm in, due to limited hard drive space.

I just got the 3900 turn, I think for the 3rd time in a row. Played and sent on to Dogboy about 6:30p PST/US (-8).

One thing I always try to do in all my games, is just send a quick reply back to whoever sent it to me just to let them know I got it. At least for the first few turns just as a way to let the sender know that I'm getting the turns OK. I would suggest the same for all if convenient.

I would also suggest we all just do a quick post on this board, just for a round or two, just to see where the logjam might be...

I'm here and I aint never seen the 3850BC save...

I like the email idea...
If you dont get a confirmation email saying the person got it, you could resend if say 24 hours go by?

I didn't get anything in quite a while, last I saw was....

guess what?

it was sent that very day

Later, on the 9th, i received it again, but simply sent the same save out again.

mailing it now again, meli. catch me on MSN!

Never seen it. I will be out of town from Feb 22 until Mar 3 on unexpected trip. So I will slow the game down for the next week (if that's even possible to slow this game down), but I have not slowed it down as of this date.
