PCX Editor

I need a program (free preferrably) to open, edit and save PCX files. If possible I would prefer a pug-in for Paint, otherwise where can I find a program that will edit these fils.

For PCX files you can use GIMP - it's free. This prog was suggested to me by oldbies of this forum. It's really good prog for editing different icons and etc.

GIMP is the most widely-used free program around here. It's great for converting images to PCX format.

I use the unholy combination of a bit of GIMP 2.2 with lotsa Corel6. Corel has a palette manager that really helps with ocnverting 256 color bmps to and from PCX.

that looks all to complicated.

Get Wally! It's all in one, and comes with a pallette editor built in.
