Peaceful Civs

What would be the best civ's (4 or 5) to include for a peaceful game, I just want a game where there is long periods of peace.

Load up the editor and check the civ's aggression level. You'll have to turn on custom rules, but you don't need to save it. I think France, India, and the Iroquois are the 'most peacefull.' The Iroquois is kinda funny, cuz all my big battles are from them.

But you can take any ciz and put it's aggression level at the lowest, and this will make them peaceful. Or at least more prone towards it.

also helpfull is to disable some victorious conditions. allowe only space race, cultural and diplomatique victory

India has the same agression level as France.
The list of civs that are below the average agression level are...

India(5), France(5), Carthage(4), China(4), and the Iroquois(4). Although China has a bad habit of declaring war on you because it is militaristic...

why would u have that?
furthermore . . . other civs easier declare war to u, if u don't have a big enough army. if u are weak compared to ur neighbour, war is coming. sooner or later.

There is no such thing as a peaceful AI. Live with it

If you're worried about peace, sign Right of Passages with the other Civs. It’ll keep them off your back but eventually one of them will break it and attack you. Use peace time to build up your defensive units (a must ) and offensive units if you’re strong enough. ROP’s also speeds up the wars the AI has with itself by giving them full movement to run around. I’d stay away from Military Alliances and Mutual Protection Pacts - - - if you’re weak, signing one of these can a death wish. The level of attack depends on the level you play.
