If you can do low poly, and can texture them, tehn by all means, feel free to do so.
 
Looks great. I'm not sure you'd call me a Civ IV expert, but I'd happily offer suggestions a constructive criticism if it's needed.
 
Hey everyone, I just wanted to inform the Civfanatics community that there is this site that is a large Mod directory for every game able to be modified and you guys might like it, im just posting this because you can add Mods [your mod(s)] and they have a huge community with many features. here is the link. before 2012, or the end of the world, whichever comes first. ;)

I am still working on the design document, and graphics for my other project, allthough lately I have been making civ 4 compatible models again. (just a matter of how they are UVwrapped)

dead. Because I am designing something different ATM, more Final Fantasyish. I just don't think colonizing a planet is as fun as starting with a caveman,


the mod, if ever out of design stage, will be different. :)
 
Neo, this is awesome! I look forward to watching its progress.

I would love to borrow some of your units for our smac mod, or if you want vice- versa or maybe you guys could help out once you are done with yours!

Too bad... Pentagenesis for Civ3 was among my favourites and after your initial work I was drooling about its sequel :(
 
i just have one simple request and that is that you bring back the ASI unit from the first pentagenisis better known as the deep eyes soldier from the Final fantasy movie, along with their dropship, one more request is that i loved your mechs in the last mod you made but i would love to see some units from the Mechwarrior 4 type games nothing too elaborate something like the madcat and the vulture to name a few, i think it would really add some familiarity and spice to the game, just one more thing i have used these units recently and i love every one of them for their massive size and they are the gothic sea vessels, the carrier and the battleship each take up 3 squares! they are very intricate and majestic and i believe they should be in the end of the era in your mod as they fit your scenario to a T

Wow Foxx, welcome to civfanatics, but this project is dead and gone.... unless somehow some awesome tools for Blender are made, or I start using 3dsmax next year... (which is a more rela possibility, since I plan on going to school at the University of Washington for digital arts this starting this winter)
 
Neomega, why don't you talk to seZereth? It seems like he's managed to do nearly everything with blender.
 
if you need I'll be an expert since I'm playing on near to a daily basis.

side note: you know what I'd like to see...
some thing like a sniper version of the marine in this mod
 
I don't know if any one is still working on this mod... but I have been checking back from time to time... still waiting for a good future mod that compares to the qaulity of something like FfH. If your not still working on it, or even if you are, you should go a head and post a work in progress.

i fear he moved on to another project.
Hopefully one of the SMAC revivals can make it into a full blown mod ;)
