You also really need to figure out this DP business. The way I see it, having a DP with someone and then expecting people to offer to them the same deals and warnings etc that they have with you is a game exploit. Really, if you have a DP with someone, you have to take the risk that they might get attacked, and you might end up at war.

When I had a DP with Dave for instance, I couldn't really expect you to give him the same warnings as you would have to give me. I made the DP, and hence I would have taken the risk if anyone had of attacked him.

This is something that needs to be clarified I think.

....basically the deals where we give each other warnings before attackign are not part of the "coded" deals. So its not an exploit..the exploit lies in the deals that are made outside of the game approved deals sincew tehy are not viewable in the game.. IF you allow the outside the coded deals to be legal tehn nothgin is an exploit involvong out side of coded deals.

So if you like the 10 turn warnign deals...seesm liek everyone one of you had that deal but me...then you shouldnt complain due to your coded deal causing you to go to war.

Not in a tight spot really, so nothing is owed. I'm just a bit disappointed in some of the statements flying around this thread. I would agree with Mel though that a DP is always a risk.

I was refering to the fact to when Mauer started he was basically clueless (no offense but you were). He was very introverted in his game play and just looking to hide in a corner and not get stomped. Over the last seven months he has improved his game play and has become a serious player. He is looking to make things happen to get ahead and is making the tough decisions to do it. If there was a most improved player award he would get my vote.

And yes contrary to popular opinon i am a nice guy
