I'm running pitboss on Windows XP, and I have the turn timer set to 24 hours.
I'm using civstats to track the game (But I'm about to switch over to playyourturn :P), and I've noticed that the "next turn" time keeps getting later and later.

At one point, the timer on the pitboss window was not changing at all!

I only use this computer through remote desktop....no physical monitor attached.

What could be causing this?

The timer is not very precise. Also you need to take into account the fact it stops during logins. :) It varies depending on the number of players but in the past I've seen a 24 hour timer go as long as 28 hours or so. So what you are seeing is expected. If you want a relatively close 24 hours you want to set the timer from 20 - 22 hours.
