Ok, so double worker rate it is. And it is a tech during 5th grade.

But what about the BU? What were they strong in?

EDIT: Since they have so many spies, then what about "Reconnaissance", and it reveals the entire map?
 
I've been tinkering with the terrain, and here's what I've got for Ocean. I've renamed it to blank nothingness, so I replaced it's graphic with an space terrain originally made by Tzar Sasha, and altered by me.

Well, the BU was mainly strong in numbers, and their belief in their invincibility (Even though they won only a single war in the 5th grade, which was the year awhere most of teh major and important wars happened. :rolleyes: ) To represent thsi would be cheaper units, and a lower war weariness rate.
And yeah, "Reconnaissance" sounds pretty-pretty good.
 
Finally! Done with the 1st era's arrows. Note that only the arrows and positions of the techs are done. Everything else about the tech tree is half done, as in their effects, costs, and if it's required or not isn't done.

Sure. I found a site for holding the mod, temperarily, and I'll give you the mod once I'm done with the tech tree and possibly the civs. I just wrote a basic skeleton for the civpedia, and it is functional. Just has a brief description of the unit.

EDIT: The space terrain doesn't go very well with the map. It's being changed so that ocean is only partially space if it borders coast or sea. It will be used unless if someone can make cliffs that makes it look like a piece of land floating in space.
 
Yes. Please. We really need ideas and graphics right now.

I'm mostly the one putting things togeather, and Omega fills in the details. We're pretty much done in units and governments (just need to fill in the details), and I'm working on Techs right now. What will be done in the future would be civs and improvements.

I can make the tech graphics myself easily, but the Civ leaderheads are going to be a big problem.

It's all based on what was "in" at that time (except for the earliest one, as The Omega doesn't remember).
If you need help remembering what was "in" during certain years, I can probably tell you.

(not that I was ever in the "in" crowd, but I do remember what "everybody" was doing at the time :p)
 
Oh. What about 1st grade for us? (lets see here, probably your 3rd or 4th grade, but then was the 3rd and 4th graders addicted to the same things as the 1st and 2nd graders?)
 
what year is that?...89?90?...that was my freshman year in HS so no big help unless you need 90-94 HS age stuffs...I read this thread, I may as well chip in if I can...

also what kinda graphix ya need?...Im experimenting with buildings(as units are a pain in the <explitave deleted>) until I get money for poser...so throw me a request or two...and I have found Im decent at terrain (I'll be posting terrain in progress for the Easter Egg hunt MOD when I finish here) so lemme know if I can help with my albeit basic skills
 
We're not on buildings yet. Still on techs.

But, if you can make the terrain that you get when coast is in contact with ocean be like the regular coast, but then the ocean is space, and the place where they connect is a cliff, so it looks like a piece of water floating in space, that will be greatly appreciated.

@weasel op, dont think Im backing out of BfNY, just on a "typing hiatus" and you have all the gfx you need...

Coast and sea is normal, and just Ocean is space. Where coast connects to Ocean, it's like a cliff.

No railroads. They kind of mess everything up in the later game. So, paratroopers have greater use.

Radar towers maybe, Outposts and airbases yes.

ok, so it goes coast -> shallow water -> sea -> end of the world...???

even better...do you have a OOO to match up with or is it Pure Black?

I need your CSO.pcx file to natch up with as well
