Well it's a long story and I screwed up bad...
To make it short, after almost fatal computer problem and a 5 minute call to a friend whose a tech guy, my computer was restored it normal, but not quite... My computer "ressurected" all the programs and files that I had installed the day after it's hard drive was cleaned for viruses back in September. All the programs that I had installed after that date just simply had their shortcuts erased from the desktop, (including BTS) while others refused to work.
Anyway to the point of my problem...
In the BTS folder I can't find the exe. file to create the shortcut on the desktop. Also when I insert the disk it gives me the option of installing and not playing. And I tried uninstalling it two ways: First I tried to find it on the uninstall list but is not there because of my little "Zombie problem", the second I tried to manually delete the the BTS folder but a notice pops up saying "Access is denied, make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not in use." My last attempt was to weave around this by trying to reinstall the game and use a different folder, however, when the installation screen comes to where it checks if Directx 9 is updated, it will check for a few moments and then disappear, thus ending the install.
So I'm wondering if anyone could tell me where exactly in my BTS I would find the startup.exe and make it into a shortcut. Or (if it's possible create one for me and have me download it).

I didn't find the exe file but I went to installshield information and deleted the BeyondtheSword information. That allowed me to delete the Warlords and BTS folders, and I was able to reinstall! Thanks Furiey!
