Howdy.

I've got an ancient notebook that I use for email and stuff when traveling. There's no keypad, but I'd love to be able to play Civ II on it. I looked through the Rules text but there was no mention of substituting keys. I figure there must be some way.

Am I correct?

Thanks for any wisdom.

The game can be played with just the mouse but moving units is a real pain.Thats the real drawback.Everything else is just a little inconvenient like giving orders to settlers. All orders can be done thru a drop down menu though.

Is there a number keypad at least?

I tried once to make a program for my laptop to substitute the keys for civilization (the laptop didn't have the numbar keypad), but I don't think it worked very well. It's better to use another computer if you want to enjoy it to 100%:)

..and it is better not to post the same question in more than 1 forum.

:hammer:
