Hello sorry to bother you but i just bought play the world and i was wondering how i might go about playing online?

I dont have a broadband connection yet but i have a brand-spanking-new pc which is pretty powerful. Could someone suggest a website for me?

Also I know that there are different game modes for online play so could someone suggest which one is most suitable for someone witha standard internet connection?

Very sorry about the boring nature of this message but if someone could help me out i'd be awfully grateful.

Mostly would require broadband for multiplayer games, but you can try and see. I play through the GS lobby. Go into play the world lobby and look for games. I think there are more people play conquests now than play the world. Basic CIV run GS comes with the disc but for a better interface you can download it here

It is free but they will try to get you to subscribe to a better package, up to you.
The other way is Play by e-mail (PBEM) this is slower but doesn't require a fast connection and can be fun. Games can be found in this forum.
