please help Error in Installation

Somebody please help me. I'm having trouble installing CIV 3. I keep coming up with Error 1335 when im first installing the game, Internal error 2350 when I click ingore, and Error 1603 when it is all finished with the other error messages. Please go easy oon me.

It would help if you could give us more information on what the errors are. Is that all they say, or is there more to the error message? Screenshots would be useful too.

FIRST ERROR:
error 1335 reads: The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package
Then I will click ignore
SECOND ERROR:
Internal Error: 2350
Then I will click OK
THRID ERROR:
error:-1603: Fatal error during installation
Then I will click OK and my installation wizard will come up with a finish. When I click finish I cant play the game.

Usually a CDC error means a dirty disc/CDROM. Can you install it from another drive?

You might be able to install it by copying the install files from the CD to the Hard drive. Occasionally this works.

No that didnt work either. Any more Ideas. sorry I cant post screen shots I dont have the means too.
