Please help me, im stuck! SCREENSHOTS

Hello guys!

So im playing Egypt and going for domination victory. Ive taken the capital of Norway two eras before. Now im in modern era and Schytia is in Industrial era. So i've prepred alot of military to take her capital, but all my units wont do any damage to he's city walls. How do i destroy walls? I have artillery which is from modern era but her city is from industrial, hows that possible that my units do not a damage to her city? What im missing here? Check out screenshot i took below! I also playing on Infamous difficulty.

Does the attack do no damage at all? I haven't run into that problem. It may take a while to batter down the walls with artillery along, but you should be able to do it.

Battering rams and siege towers still affect walls in the later eras (which is a bit silly in the middle of modern armies, but it works), so don't hesitate to bring your ground forces in close to attack the city directly.

Have you actually tried? I can't remember, but I've seen that before and ignored it and it was fine. I could be wrong, but iirc certain units won't show an attack summary if they are out of range or unable to actually get into range of the target due to units clogging the way. Something like that.

To start, I'd suggest declaring war on her...from that screenshot she is just 'displeased' with you, not at war. After you declare you will start seeing the battle values (as well as do damage!)

Never had this problem before. I've used a few artillery armies to take down information era cities just fine.
Either the tooltip is wrong and just try attacking anyway, or the whole thing is bugged.

The problem is definitely the Infamous difficulty setting. Ratchet that down to Notorious and you should be just fine

Think it's probably just a tooltip error caused by either a) not being at war, or b) because the city is in the fog of war (don't think being out of range should be a factor though)

You should definitely be able to damage it at least

Thank you for your help guys! I will try to attack them and see what happens. Thou im pretty sure this happened in my last playthrou with Russia when i attacked norway. My artillery was not doing damage to their walls that much , but theys wall destroyed my troops. However i did not cared that much as i was aiming for science victory.

And sorry about that ''infamous difficulty''. I meant IMMORTAL as you can guess
