Please help me removing Mods

I've already posted a thread, I wrote I was unable to load saved MODded games, anyway no one answered, so I'm still having that problem.
E. G. I can save and load games played and saved with the new 1492 scenario, but not modded saved games.
Now, I'd like to try removing all mods one by one to see wich one is causing this problem.
How can I do that? Is it enough if I move them away from the Mod folder in My Games\Civilization 5... etc.??

Theoretically...yes. Not sure what will happen in praxis.
