Please help with newbie mod question

Sorry if this has been asked many times before, but I have searched multiple subforums without avail.

I am trying to install a custom Swiss civilization mod found in the mod database, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to figure where to put it in my steam folder, how to use steam to install this mod for me.

Once the mod is unzipped place it in your "Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS" folder. If Civ 5 is running when you place it in the directory it will sometimes decompress it automatically for you (only if it is in the specific workshop compression format).
