I don't know if this is already around but probably not...
I just downloaded the 1.17 patch and installed it but It didn't seem to work so I uninstalled 1.16 and re-did 1.17, still no change. Then, I uninstalled civ3 entirley and re-booted but now I can't install civ 3!!! When I get to 22% on minimum and 16% on typical, it stops and I get a message saying-please insert the Disc0 with data3.cab- or something. There is a select box with D: in and a browse button but after trying every place I could think of and using FIND, I see that there is no data3.cab ANYWHERE on my computer! This is obviously a real problem. Does anyone know how to fix this or has anyone else had the same problem?
