I appreciate the fact that you guys love the basic game and the whole concept of it and I also appreciate that graphics are aesthetic and should not take anything away from the original game. However, having played the modern and some would say inferior product, I have to admit that I have been spoilt by contemporary graphics. I would say though that I still like Civ 3 graphics but anything prior to that (although I have copies) I still find difficult to play...shame as I know that beauty lays under the skin.
