Pollution

Once you have a recycling plant you will have no pollution(or only some spot) And since usually its only take only a few worker to clean a polluted spot it is not supposed to affect production at all.

Thanks for the details on how to mod the workers job in the Editor, but it doesn't seem to work though, I must 've done something wrong.....
I'll try again next time.
But one thing: Once I changed the number of turns for the workers to clean the pollution, how to you save that? There is no save buttom, at least I can't find it.

I don't usually have many rails and if I use them , it is only from one City to another. So maybe it ain't because of this.
The recycling plants take toooooo long to get anyways and the pollution has already taken its toll before they are available and then to get them in 60, 80 or even 100 turns....

All I need to know where in the main files I can erase the pollution once and for all, that should be possible, no?
I still can't figure out why no one ever has made a mod for the pollution, with all the dozens of other mods available. Am I the only one that seems to dislike the Pollution?....lol

Just close the rules window, hit 'save as' and save the mod in your scenarios folder.

Thank you Midnight Piper. But I was wondering, will it change the gameplay in the random maps? Because I only play the random maps!- Or do I have to use the scenario map?

Well, thanks for this information, Turner, I will try this rigth away in a new game. It will take a while though until I get to the point of pollution....
Thanks everyone for the kind help on this site, glad that I asked.

My opinion: This stupid pollution stuff should have never been there in the first place, or only on a *click on/off demand* for those who like it.More games should have the on/off option for certain styles or whatever.

I bought this game to have fun and not grow white hair......lol

I agree furthermore I think that it was someone's attempt to force their view of the world on the gammer. The litttle global warming thing is cute too but somthing I'd perfer left out of the game.

You're right BobV, that's why they should've added an on/off switch for this! It is a shame, because for me it destroys a lot of **having fun thing** and that's mostly why I play these games. If I want to have a headache, I just go my office.......
