Sorry for the bad english my grammar isn't that good

For the topic of technology behind.

I thinx it actualy hurds you more in civ 5 to be technology behind than civ 4 IN civ 5 You could kill maceman on the defence with some longbowman. The thing you could say is you are only screwed if you don't have the proper technology to counter it but that doens't mean you have to be in the same era

compared to civ 5 you're opponent has artillery and you not you will have a difficult time.
Same with if they get rifleman and you don't the 25 strenght is verry powerfull compared to maximum of 18(knights) 16 longswords or muskets.

Thinx about thats usally when the battle change when you get artillery or get rifleman or mechanised infantry.

And multiplayer in civ 5 sucks simultaneous turns are ridicoulous it ruins the 1 unit per tile strategic option and make it to a who moves or fire first especially with crosbowman its just who fires first.

And not to mention the unbalanced game aspects as crosbowman beeing to overpowerd high range strenght and 10 melee strenght so only knights can counter them effictifly but still not perfectly a mass crosbowman defeat knight(again thinx about simultaneous turns if you can shoot first before they reach you win)
its just broken game mechanic.

A other broken game mechanic is that horses are nerved to the ground So in multiplayer the early game mustly depends if you have iron and how much..
If you don't you can basicly quit the game because you will likly lose. Horses are nice but they are certainly lose their value in multiplayer because of the
simultaneous turns

Multiplayer in civ 5:

spam cities and get as much gold as possible early on Get iron working as fast as possible and settle iron
Spam warriors and upgrade them to swordsman
Go full liberty on social polices and get the free scientist and bulb any technology you want usally machinery as soon as you get crosbowman before the opponent you win there is no way you're opponent can counter except by bulbing crosbows theirself

So thats basicly wat multiplayer is in civ 5

DLC link doesn't work.

I found the DLC a bad feature it basicly is to get more money out of the serie. I don't mind the new civilizations you bought it to play a civilization you want.
but when they are starting to add game breaking things that affect all civilizations like new wonders that makes me mad.

And about paying for patches I bought a broken game especially diplomacy and I shouldn't be paying to fix this the developers should do that!!!!

What do you guys thinx about quilt 18 lets plays of civ 5 ?

DLC link doesn't work.
Arg -- corrected. I had forgotten that someone, at some point, configuring the server of the site that article is on, had made it so that if there wasn't an "/" at the end of a link to a directory it wouldn't work. To confirm then, removing the "/" at the end of the address to that article makes it inaccessible to the site visitor. Ludicrous.

Appreciate your detailed feedback on a number of the topics on this episode... hope you enjoyed it. :king:

Yeah I enjoyed it however I didn't really had the same opinion at the DLC part

I can't get to the site for some reason. Oh well, I will check it out tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the site is still down for reasons unbeknownst to me :( -- I did contact our hosts earlier today about this.
I'm not certain of the exact time, but at some point earlier today service was restored to the PolyCast website.
